40 modular homes – a holiday development in a mountain region of Germany

A development comprising 40 modular holiday homes was completed as part of a large-scale recreational project in a scenic mountain region of Germany. Three complementary house types, with usable floor areas ranging from 50 to 120 m² and configurations for 4–6 guests, created a varied accommodation offer while maintaining a consistent premium standard across the park.

  • The objective: accommodation suited to different guest needs

The investor needed homes that would offer a choice of floor areas and interior layouts. The aim was to accommodate different group sizes and expectations regarding the amount of space available, while maintaining a consistent architectural character and premium standard.

  • From concept support to the production of 40 homes

TLC Unit’s scope included concept support, manufacturing, delivery and on-site assembly of ready-to-live modular homes. Producing 40 homes across three house types required coordinated manufacturing and a consistent standard of workmanship across the different configurations. Modular technology enabled the homes to be manufactured in controlled production conditions.

  • Fully finished, ready-to-live homes – including delivery and on-site assembly

The homes were manufactured and delivered fully finished and ready to live in. Interior finishing formed part of the project scope, providing the investor with completed accommodation prepared for guest use. Following production, the homes were transported to the development, where TLC Unit supported their on-site assembly. The scope of cooperation included concept support, manufacturing, delivery and assembly work at the location.
